SOS.NET project
SOS.NET project www.sostrainer.eu focused on an issue that deals with a lack of training programmes on systematic social competences development and improvement at secondary education level in 5 European countries â Portugal, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey.
Outcomes
The project generated necessary pedagogic and didactic material for teachers to enable them to ensure consistent development of soft skills at pupils. Teachers and pupils now have at their disposal also a simple online tool for diagnostics for measuring soft competences level. Apart from this, 60 teachers from all partner countries had been trained to be able to implement these soft skills training materials. The trained specialists then conducted pilot trainings for 1000 pupils.
A final workshop of this project was held in Estarreja (near Aveiro) in Portugal in May 2012. There were 3 teachers from each partner country and all the participants had a chance to discuss their experience with implementation of the training materials into their lessons and they also discussed feedback from their students.
